ORBIS, an Engineering Solutions company, announced today that it has acquired Canopy Design Lab, a research and engineering design firm.
ORBIS was founded in 2000, growing to over 450 employees with over 25 locations across the USA providing Government Services, Industrial & Workforce Solutions and Product Solutions. Since its inception, the company has developed and provided innovative solutions within the ORBIS Product Solutions Business Unit which includes ORBIS Labs based in Charleston S.C.

Dr. Wieckowski will join ORBIS as its Chief Technology Officer, and the company will retain its deep bench of senior leadership across its lines of business. Additional Canopy Design Lab Co-Founders, Andrew Casperson and Kevin Hammer will assume innovation leadership positions within the ORBIS Product Solutions business unit.
