MDA SHIELD

ORBIS is honored to be selected to support Missile Defense Agency’s “SHIELD” Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense IDIQ contract. With a contract ceiling of $150 billion, this multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract allows MDA and other Department of Defense entities to rapidly compete orders under one flexible enterprise vehicle.

SHIELD covers a broad range of work and enables the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility, leveraging AI / ML artificial enabled applications and maximizing use of digital engineering, open systems architectures, model-based systems engineering, and agile processes in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of these capabilities.
