Test Engineer

Orbis, Inc. has an opening for a Test Engineer supporting Special Projects at our Washington, DC location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop hardware for Functional and Final Test
• Design and develop LabVIEW software for Functional and Final Test
• Develop LabVIEW tools for product development debug and validation testing

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with embedded programming is desirable
• Familiar with electrical specifications, serial, parallel, JTAG, GPIB, and I2C
• CAD software experience
• Able to operate independently in a dynamic past paced environment
• Debugging Skills
• Ability to write technically
• Understand PC Board Layout
• All applicants must be eligible to be granted a DoD Security Clearance

Education and Experience:

• 4 year Engineering Degree (BSEE or BSCS)
