Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) & Functional Area Manager (FAM) Support
Orbis Incorporated is currently looking for qualified people to fill an anticipated opening on our technical staff in our Portsmouth, NH office.
The requirements are as follows:
- Collect responses to FAM/NMCI data calls to comply with higher level Navy direction
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Initiate and manage Application Sunsets under NMCI - manage continual process of reduction or update of applications used by SUBMEPP under NMCI
- Maintain NMCI Application to Machine Mapping in Legacy Applications Database (LADB)
- Maintain and monitor SUBMEPP's information system entries in the FAM database Department of the Navy Applications Database Management Systems (DADMS) and in the Integrated Solutions Framework (ISF) Tools Database
- Manage and maintain applications in Legacy Application Data Base (LADB)
- Manage and maintain SUBMEPP COTS Strategic Plan for Reduction of Applications
- Manage configuration of Science and Technology (S & T) Seat and dual desktops
- Manage NMCI New User Account Orientation, and provide initial user workstation set
- Manage recovery of Legacy Workstations
- Manage SUBMEPP Dual Desktops (DDR), Legacy Servers, and Device registrations in ISF tools
- Monitor NMCI service level agreements by evaluating NMCI SUBMEPP customer support for tickets and Move, Add, Change (MAC)
- Perform internal business case analysis to determine the need for Commercial and Off the Shelf (COTS) application upgrades
- Prepare pre-certification application packaging documentation
- Prepare Statements of Objectives for Requirements to Award Program (RAP) Tool
- Resolve Level 2 Technical issues regarding NMCI operations, applications connectivity, server reach back, B2 boundary, quarantines, NMCI Server Transition Planning and 403M/hosts file changes
- Support NMCI/Legacy Printing - co-ordinate printing issues under NMCI, and develop plans to support changes
- Prepare impact reports and mitigation recommendation.
